Direct Motion software is a very complete CAM system. It will allow the user to create complex 2-D and 3-D tool paths. Our software does not output G codes. The tool paths can only be used to drive motion control hardware built and supplied by Direct Motion. The Direct Motion system is language based much like G codes. It allows many operations to execute which are not supported by G code such as the Mill Tangent command used in the "simple belt guard" and Lace command used in the "3d tool comped mesh" shown on the Software Screenshots page. Sample program files are included in the download. There are 60 sample programs in all. The Direct Motion system will import and run G code files as well as dxf files.
